KYC (Know your Customer)

Kryptobox uses identity verification to comply with KYC laws and confirm that a customer is who they say they are, as per our Terms of Use.


Before you continue

As part of our commitment to being the most trusted cryptocurrency platform, all identity documents need to be verified through the Kryptobox website or app. We do not accept emailed ID documents for verification purposes.

To change your civil name and country of residence, you will need to enter an updated ID document. If you move country, you will need to enter an ID document valid in the country where you have taken up residence. You can change your personal information in your profile .


To verify your identity

  1. Log in to your Kryptobox account or go to the Kryptobox app
  2. You will be asked to verify your identity, Face ID....
  3. Please provide all the necessary data.
  4. Select the type of ID document
  5. Provide all the requested information
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to send your ID photos
  7. You will receive a confirmation email when verification is complete


Tips

  1. How to take ID document photos
  2. Use your mobile phone camera which generally produces clearer photos
  3. Choose a well-lit location preferably with natural light
  4. Use indirect light on the document to avoid reflections
  5. if you use a webcam, leave the document on a surface and move the webcam instead of moving the document
  6. Use a flat background for the document
  7. Do not hold the document with your fingers to avoid confusing the focus of the lens
